What are the Maternity Ward visiting hours?
To support patient recovery and safety, maternity ward visits are strictly limited to the following sessions:
- Lunch Session: 12:30 PM - 2:00 PM
- Evening Session: 4:30 PM - 6:30 PM
- Only a maximum of 2 visitors per bed are allowed at any time.
How do I access SHA (formerly NHIF) outpatient services?
Pharmlex Medical Centre is fully accredited by the Social Health Authority (SHA). To receive treatment under the scheme:
- Present a valid National Identity Card and registered mobile number.
- Ensure your SHA membership status is active and monthly contributions are up-to-date.
- Dependents/Children must be registered under the principal member's profile for maternity and ANC cover.
Do I need an appointment for Laboratory/Optical tests?
General laboratory and vision tests do not require advance bookings—you can register at our reception desk. However, Booking online helps secure faster priority consultation slots for specialized dental operations and optical screen checks.
